Havas Worldwide announced today the promotion of Helen Pak, Chief Creative Officer and President of Havas Worldwide Canada, to the role of CEO. Pak will retain her responsibilities as Chief Creative Officer in addition to now overseeing the Havas Worldwide group across Canada — including offices in Toronto and Montreal as well as 2015 acquisition, Plastic Mobile.

HAVAS WORLDWIDE APPOINTS CHRIS HIRST AS EUROPEAN CEO

Havas Worldwide today announced the appointment of Chris Hirst as CEO of Europe, a new position for the agency. The announcement was made by Andrew Benett, Global CEO of Havas Creative Group and Havas Worldwide. In the new position, Hirst will oversee all Havas Worldwide teams and operations in continental Europe and the UK, with a focus on accelerating the agency’s business development and growth across the region.

HAVAS CREATIVE GROUP LAUNCHES HELIA TO DRIVE GLOBAL DATA EXPERTISE

Havas Creative Group today announced that it is relaunching Havas EHS and Havas Discovery. The new brand will be called helia and will also be expanding the agency’s offering internationally. This expansion will create a go-to-market brand across the US (Chicago, Richmond, Baltimore, and New York), Europe (London, Cirencester, Warsaw), and China (Shanghai). The Helia group will start with a combined data-related revenue of over $70 million, more than 200 data scientists, 700 staff, and a client roster that includes Unilever, easyJet, IBM, Diageo, Sony PlayStation, Liberty Mutual, and DISH.
