As a major sponsor of the 2012 London Olympics, Coca-Cola wanted its own music to honor the event and add a high-value contribution to the celebration.
Our agency, Cake London, pulled together a roster of artists, led by Mark Ronson, to create Coca-Cola’s soundtrack for the Games. Ronson’s anthem “Anywhere In The World” featured vocals by Katy B and incorporated the sounds of young athletes from around the world, as well as a feature-length supporting documentary and advertising campaign.
The track “Anywhere In The World” enjoyed massive play on radio, TV, media, and social media around the globe. The track has been a key feature of the wider “Move to the Beat” campaign, with its dedicated website. The campaign encompassed everything from TV commercials to fan-generated digital content, inviting consumers to create their own personalized “Beat of London”.
